New Insights Behavioral Health Services, LLC is Hiring a Mental Health Professional Near Baton Rouge, LA

Position Summary: The Mental Health Professional is responsible for providing approved mental health rehabilitation services to clients assigned to them.

Qualifications:

Must have a degree in one of the following:

-Bachelors or Masters of Social Work

-Bachelors or Masters degree in psychology

-Bachelors or Masters degree in a mental health related field

-Bachelors or Masters of Sociology or Human Services

-Bachelors or Masters of Education degree in a mental health related field.

Duties:

  • Provides community support work to clients and individual or group counseling to clients.
  • May provide group psychosocial skills training to clients assigned.
  • Assess, review, or monitor a recipient’s status in relation to rehabilitation.
  • Identify, report, and maintain weekly appointments for community resources.
  • Submit accurate, legible, and complete weekly counseling notes and service logs.
  • Attend staffing meetings regularly.
  • Assist and positively interact with other team members.
  • Attends all scheduled staff trainings.
  • Participates in ongoing accreditation initiatives and trainings.
  • Acknowledges responsibility to participate in agency growth.
  • Maintains membership in at least one Accreditation Committee Team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $40.00 per hour
